A Quiet Space

Books and Games in the Library

The library offers a quiet space for reading, reflecting, working on a puzzle, playing games, watching a movie or sleeping in a comfortable chair. There are children’s games, movies and books to share for our younger and young-at-heart guests.

Our Gardens and Grounds

summer flowersSituated on nine acres of land with a pond, woodlands and a lot of space for a quiet walk, the Inn is perfect for family reunions, parties or any other special occasions. Weddings, receptions, barbeques, lobster bakes and other outdoor parties are effortless and arranged by the Inn from June 1 to October 15. Guests are welcome to bring their outdoor games along, too. The Inn has a variety variety of outdoor games (i.e., crochet, horseshoes, ring toss, volleyball, etc.) available at your request.

Bob and Deb encourage all to return to the earth and enjoy the natural beauty of the setting. In spring, summer and fall, flower and vegetable gardens (weeding help is always welcomed) add to the property.

A deck adorned with large umbrellas, container gardens and a canopied Gazebo provides the perfect spot to enjoy Maine summers. As our guest you can simply sit and watch birds, dine, listen to the peepers and bull frogs, or simply enjoy the quiet of the evening star gazing or relaxing around a campfire.
